Manually Updating Leave Balance

To manually update the leave balances of an employee

  1. Select Organization >Employees from SecurTime side menu. The Employees main page is displayed.
  2. Select the checkbox near the employee to whom you want to update the leave balances.
  3. Select the Actions>Leave Assign.

The Leave Assignment page is displayed. This page displays leave updation options for Casual Leave, Sick leave, Paid Leave, Comp-off Leaves, etc. as per your leave types configuration.

In the Leave Assignment page you can credit, debit, or reset the leaves from Assign Type drop down, for the respective leave types.

Debit Leave Option

If you want to deduct any leaves from a leave type, then select the Assign Type as Debit. Enter the Assigning Value which is the number of days of leave that you want to debit. A message is displayed near the leave type indicating the Updated Balance. As this is a debit of leaves, the balance is decremented from the total existing number by the Assigning Value. For example, if the initial total Available Balance was 11, and you have given the Assigning Value as 5, then the Updated Balance shows as 6.

If you want to add more leaves to any leave type, select the Assign Type as Credit. Enter the Assigning Value which is the number of days of leave that you want to credit. A message is displayed near the leave type indicating the Updated Balance. As this is a credit of leaves, the balance is incremented to the Assigning Value, for example 12.

Reset Leave Option

If you want to reset the entire leave balance for any leave type, then select the Assign Type as Reset. Enter the Assigning Value which is the number of days of leave that you want to display newly for this
