Creating Leave Types

You can create leave types and associate them to an affiliate.

 Note : You cannot edit a system-configured leave type. Also note that the comp-off- related leave types are system-created and you cannot edit them.


To create a new leave type and add it to an affiliate of an organization

  1. Select Organization >Leave Types from SecurTime side menu. The Leave Types main page is displayed.
  2. Click on +New Leave Type to add a new leave type to an affiliate. The Create Leave Type page is displayed.
Creating Leave Types
  1. Select the affiliate where you want to associate or add the leave type from Select Affiliate.
  2. Enter the name of the leave type in Name.
  3. Enter an abbreviation for this leave type in Abbreviation.

 Note : The given abbreviation is reflected as Attendance Status in Reports and in the Attendance Calendar on dashboard.

  1. Click Save to save the leave type configuration. The newly added leave type is displayed in the Leave Types main page.
